6 August 2008: Warrington Travelling Posse
The IKEA posse is no more! In its place we have decided to visit some of Cheshire's Finest pubs every 4 weeks. This is in addition to the regular 4-weekly Warrington Mid-week posse at the Stretton Fox.
After meeting at Warrington IKEA every 4 weeks for as long as anyone can remember, the Warrington Posse has decided to seek new horizons, have a change of scenery and generally do something different. So every 4 weeks we are going to meet at a different venue. I am kicking things off by suggesting the Parr Arms, which is a superior Cheshire Pub in a picturesque setting. The food is good but there's no obligation to have a meal, just join us for a drink or two. There's seating outside should it be warm enough (some hope).
This is in addition to the regular Warrington Mid week Posse at the Stretton Fox.
So one week the Stretton Fox (23 July), 2 weeks later (6 August) the travelling posse at a changing venue, 2 weeks later (20 August) the Stretton Fox again and so on and so forth.
Any suggestions for venues for the Travelling Posse would be most welcome and a volunteer to organise the event would be welcome too as I already organise the Stretton Fox and the Warrington Saturday Posse.
