Hiya everybody, We had a brilliant response from this forum last year for our Walk the Extra Mile St Helens sponsored walk and I'm hoping this year that even more of you will take part. It's just a gentle, fun walk that everybody can join!

We had a brilliant response from this forum last year for our Walk the Extra Mile St Helens event and I'm hoping this year that even more of you will take part. It's not a challenge event, just a gentle, fun walk that everybody can join in.
What: Walk the Extra Mile for Diabetes UK
When: Sunday 11th September at Sherdley Park in St Helens
Briefly: It's a gentle 1.5 mile walk suitable for everybody including wheelchair users and pushchairs. Well behaved dogs are welcome and pink/black fancy dress is encouraged.
Cost: Free to enter, just raise as much money as you can!

There are 3 million people with diabetes in the UK, and the effects can be devastating. Most of us know someone who has the condition. Diabetes UK supports and provides services to people living with diabetes, and funds research into the causes, complications and, hopefully, a cure.
