1 June 2008: Walk for Life - consider joining the Food Chain Team
Walk for Life is a wonderful event each year that raises funds for Crusaid as well as other charities who setup teams and participate. It's a 10km walk along the Thames taking in all the lovely sites of London.
Walk for Life is well explained at www.walkforlife.co.uk. If you would like to join The Food Chain team (www.foodchain.org.uk) you need to sign up as an individual at Walk for Life and then go back and log into the site and "join" The Foood Chain team http://www.walkforlife.co.uk/public_team.php?teamid=3&teamtype=Charity%20Team
You do not have to have been involved with the Food Chain in the past, but we would love to meet you! We are a small charity with about 1,000 volunteers who provide nutritional services to people living within London with HIV. This includes a Sunday meal service, emergency grocery deliveries, seasonal food hampers, and nutritional advice and a website devoted to healthy recipes http://www.iancraddock.com/
