Tonic Fold, the highly acclaimed orchestral funk incarnation from composer Shane Cullinan are to launch their greatly anticipated new album ‘Numbers Rush By' at the world famous Actors' Church in Covent Garden on Friday September 14th 2007

The music falls around an ambient, raw orchestral sound, blended with an upbeat soft funk groove, which has worked well in clubs as much as concert halls.

They have sold out at venues across the UK including London venues Bush Hall, The Spitz, The Union Chapel, Jongleurs, Too2Much, SOUND, The Sanctuary.

The 12 piece collective, whose line up consists of string octet, drums, bass, piano and guitar, will perform their new album live with a series of guest vocalists, choir and brass ensemble.

Brad Henshaw (backing vocals for P Diddy, Whitney Houston, Blur, Richard Ashcroft) performs Tonic Fold's new single ‘Soho' and urban poet Luke Wright guests on a new version of ‘The Magpie'.

Individually, the rest of the band members have worked with The Divine Comedy, Ryan Adams, Beth Orton, Starsailor, English National Opera, Spiritualized, Nexus, Space Invader, Paul McCartney, London Symphony Orchestra, including Melanie C, Rod Stewart, Paul Weller, Enigma, and Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
