29 July 2007: The Worthing Seafront Bus Gathering and Running Day
The annual Worthing Bus Rally
THE WORTHING RALLY IS ON!
And what is more, it is back at the traditional site on Worthing Seafront. The enforced change of venue last year came about through no fault of the organisers, but the rally has been an integral part of the annual Worthing Festival for some time. We've been invited to return. So we have agreed - it'll be nice to be back.
There are changes to our organisation this year. Chris Pearce has stepped down as front man and another of our number is moving out of the area. Chris Cunningham has taken over the reins and is sure to bring in new ideas to make the rally a continuing success. So please come along and support us.
However, what is undoubtedly a more popular location is also somewhat restrictive in the number of vehicles which can be accommodated and this year, for the first time, we will have to limit the run-in to pre-booked vehicles only.
