13 October 2007: The London Song Festival, third concert.
A concert of songs from and inspired by Italy, performed by four singers and piano.
Shake off the gloom of a grey London October by coming to the third concert of the London Song Festival, a concert of songs from and inspired by Italy. Four singers including tenor Nicky Spence, with myself (Nigel Foster) on the piano will perform a programme including songs and ensembles by Verdi, Bellini, Rossini, Tosti, Peter Warlock, John Ireland and Noel Coward.
This is the third concert of the inaugural London Song Festival, which is very much my baby - I'm the founder and director as well as the pianist, so please come and support me by coming to as many of the concerts as possible.
