As gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender people, do we have a right to happiness? Lord Rodger stated that gay people have the right to live freely and openly. This can present something of a challenge, if we have lived our lives fighting our identity or concealing some aspects of our lives.
Today's debate seeks to inspire by looking at ways people with an LGBT identity have made peace with their orientation and claimed a new kind of happiness, without having to hide under a straight' identity. And what do we say to those people who claim gay people have more fun'!
Why is it harder for us to find fulfilment? What walks of life bring happiness? Does it help finding examples of these, and what do we need to make the inspiration a reality?
Hear several sides and opinions or just come to listen. See you on 14 September!
