What is this event about?
If you've never experienced an Indian head massage then you're missing out!
Head massage has been practised in India for thousands of years. It's a stimulating and deeply nurturing treatment, which targets the upper back, shoulders, neck and scalp and is highly effective at releasing the symptoms of tension, headaches, insomnia and improving the condition of the hair. It's surprisingly easy to learn, requires no special equipment and can be carried out over clothes.
The aims of this 2 hour workshop are to:
* Discover how to de-stress, reduce muscular tension and feel fantastic
* Learn a do-able technique that you can practise on family and friends
* Be able to give and receive a 20 minute treatment by the end of the workshop
The workshop is mainly practical and will briefly include:
* The history of Indian head massage
* Physical and psychological benefits
