13 July 2008: Sunday Lunch in Islington 6
It's time for the 6th meeting of the Islington Sunday Lunch Club. Quite simply, we meet in a different Islington restaurant every month; we chat, we laugh, we eat some gorgeous grub, meet old friends and make new ones! Everyone is welcome.
We're working our way gradually through the fabbest restaurants of Islington for our Sunday Lunch OUTings
And the venue for July is... MASALA ZONE
I know we've been to this one before, in March, but that was the most popular sunday lunch event yet, so I reckon it's worth going again.
ALSO, this restaurant has the largest outdoor seating area on Upper Street, so if the weather is still gorgeous by sunday, I shall try and reserve some outside tables, so that we can scoff a delicious alfresco curry and watch the wildlife on Upper Street go by. If it turns wet and nasty, they have loads of comfy seats inside, so there will be no problem about moving.
Then we'll be heading off to the newly re-opened Green Cafe Bar for some serious socialising, and to check out their new decor (lots of sofas and plants, basically). I've set up a seperate event for The Green, for people who fancy a few drinks on a sunday afternoon, but don't want to join the 'OUTers Who Lunch'.
