Let's all get together, laugh, chat and eat Sunday lunch!
Simple: let's meet for lunch. Gallipoli Bazaar is a friendly little Arabian themed restaurant on Upper Street, with all types of nice food ranging from Egyptian to Turkish to Greek. They mostly do lamb and chicken dishes. Reviews can be found here:

If afterwards people fancy heading for coffee/drinks there is the Green a bit further up Upper Street, where the very successful Out in Islington event used to be held.

If this event is a success I will consider organising it on a monthly basis, perhaps visiting a different venue each month.
