20 September 2009: Sunday Lunch II - Return to the Castle
Following on from the very successful event in August when 25 of my friends and people from OUT attended, I am arranging another Sunday Lunch at The Castle Pub in Colchester. - Excellent food and very good portions all for £6.95!
We arranged a Sunday Lunch in August which was very successful. 25 people attended and it was extremely friendly. Many of the peope were known to me personally, but we encouraged everyone to bring other friends and new people from OUT which made it a great way to meet new people.
Because everyone enjoyed themselves so much, we have arranged another Lunch on 20th September with the same format. Meet at The Outhouse 12 noon for coffee and drinks and to get introduced and walk up to the pub for 1pm.
Afterward s many people went for a walk in the Park as it was a lovely day and then on to a pub for a few drinks and to get to know peope better. - Depending on weather, we will do the same again (or just go straight to the pub!)
The food was extremely good with massive portions and well cooked vegetables and the vegetarian options were equally as good!
We are expecting another good turnout and the pub obviously will have to limit numbers, so we will have to do this on a first come basis, so book early (and please keep me informed if for any reason you cannot attend) Hope to meet you soon

Outgoing solvent guy wants more friends who like to say 'yes' to all types of social events. I'm less interested in the gay scene but will try anything. My last holiday was to Korea which was quite different! Love my garden and love having friends who pop round (especially those that bring a bottle of wine!) Anyone fancy lunch in Sudbury? I need an excuse to leave the office!
