Same-sex couples and friends all over the world are encouraged to hold hands in public to support the visibility of Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans (LGBT) people on Sssh! Saturdays - the last of every month
Sshh! Saturdays aim to create many more safer spaces for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans people. On these days, same-sex couples and friends will simply hold hands in public for a short time, to support the visibility of LGBT people.
Each and every last Saturday of the month.
"You CAN take responsibility for our equality: by simply holding hands and claiming that space in public during the day."
Help to demonstrate that same-sex affection is a part of the fabric of life.
Let us peacably challenge homophobia: A Day in Hand was recognised by the British PM in Sept 09 for its award-winning activism.
