Amateur performance of the comedy play ART by Yasmina Reza at Headgate Theatre in Colchester followed by going on to a bar, probably the gay bar Freedom.
Serge, Yvan and Marc have been friends for a long time. But their friendship is put to the test when one of them buys a painting. A painting?
A white painting.
White?
All white!
But is it Art?
They judge what is art. They judge each other. Can their friendship survive? 'Art' is funny and moving and abrasive by turns.

You can find out more about the venue at www.headgatetheatre.co.uk Tickets are £8 (£6 conc) and are available from the box office on [number available to members only] 00. PLEASE book your tickets in advance or check with box office that they will have tickets on the door to avoid disappointment.
If we go on to Freedom - it sometimes has a door charge on a friday - £1 before 10pm, more after. Recently it has had a good DJ on Friday nites.
