Hearing the music of Beethoven and Haydn together in a concert is incredibly compelling - surprising, perhaps, given that they appear to have been polar opposites and never enjoyed the warmest pupil-teacher relationship. Both works were premiered early in the 19th century, but for Haydn, at 70, this Mass was a culmination - his last large-scale work. Beethoven, meanwhile was in his mid-30s and defying all convention in his revolutionary and astounding symphony.

If you're a professional guy in your 30's, living in Glasgow, who appreciates classical music, good conversation and a "quiet" lifestyle, then I'd be interested to hear from you. Guys not from Glasgow might still interest as possible friends.
