Salsa Fantástica is a not-for-profit queer dance club in London. Its primary purpose is encourage the LGBTT community and their friends to learn how to dance the most popular club styles of salsa in a comfortable environment.
Students are encouraged to attend more than one class, if possible. There are three classes running concurrently from 7pm - 9pm:
Technique class (all levels) 7pm - 8pm (Phil)
• Footwork patterns
• Fundamentals of partnerwork
(This class is aimed at bring beginners up into the intermediate class and improving the technique of the improvers.)
Beginners' class 8pm - 9pm (Phil)
• Basic steps and timing
• Left and right turns (anticlockwise and clockwise)
• The cross-body lead which is the basis of this style
Improvers / intermediate class 8pm - 9pm (Conor)
• Turn patterns and styling
Social dancing 9pm - 10pm
At 9pm the floor opens to YOU. That is all of you!
