17 February 2008: Real Ale Social
This social is anyone who likes to drink Real Ale or Real Cider whilst meeting old and making new friends in an informal relaxed atmosphere.
The Real Ale Social Event is the ideal place to meet old friends and make new ones whilst enjoying a few pints of superb beer or cider. The Vat and Fiddle is the brewery Tap for Castle Rock Beers, four of which are available most of the time but as an added bonus there usually is another six beers available mainly from micro-breweries. There is usually real cider avialbe as well together with a selection of Continental Beers.
There's lots of chat about beer, breweries, pubs etc. however the lively conversation is not limited to such a narrow specialised topic. There is also an exchange of news concerning beer festivals, where good pubs are located and discoveries of new watering holes.
