10 June 2007: Real Ale Social
The Real Social Event is for those Members of Out who like to drink and chat about real ale, real cider and woud like to find out more. Rest assured, not all the conversation is devoted to beer.
The Real Ale Social is a chance to meet other members of Out who like to drink Real Ale and make new friends. The Vat & Fiddle is an ideal place to meet since not only is it the Brewery Tap for Castle Rock Beers (Brewed at the back of the pub) of which 4 of their beers are always available. In additional guest 6 beers (mainly from other Micro Breweries) are also available, and I'm certain that since the Real Ale Socials have began, they have not repeated a guest beer. Needless to say that all the beers on offer are exceedingly drinkable. They also have a reasonable range of continental beers.
If you've not been to a real ale social before, look out for the Real Ale Social Sign usually place on a window cill
You'll find this event interesting blend of chat about beers, locations of the best pubs, local and national beer festivals, Brewerys spiced with conversation and yarns covering many other interest that make this event stimulating.
If there is interest the social could continue at another venue after 17:30.

I'm 58, out only to gay friends, have a great sense of humour, love meeting friends for laughs at and to plan trips. I'm no adonis, but could be a great friend. I'm a romantic and young at heart. I'm seeking preferably younger friends who have similar interests. My interests includes photography, Reading, Music (classical but not exclusively) singing, visiting real ale pubs, travel, Computers and collecting things.
