Rainbow Voices start the Autumn term with an open evening for potential new members to come along and meet us. Rainbow Voices is the region's LGBT choir. No previous experience needed.
Rainbow Voices start the Autumn term with an open evening for potential new members to come along and meet us. Rainbow Voices is the region's LGBT choir. No previous experience of singing in a choir is needed, although we do ask that you are able to hold a tune. As well as two main concerts a year we also sing at events including Pride, World AIDS day and Arts Fest. In 2009 we are singing at the European LGB choirs festival, Various Voices, in London.
The choir is a great place to meet and make new friends and we have lots of social activities as well. The rehearsals are informal and relaxed although we do ask for commitment to regular attendance and time spent learning music and words for performances. Rainbow Voices is a Midlands based choir which was established in 1995 with the intention of providing an opportunity for lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgendered people and their friends to meet together in a safe space and celebrate their diversity in song.
