London Quaker Lesbian & Gay Fellowship's monthly meeting: 30 minutes tea and socialising 30 minutes silent worship 1 hour discussion: What and how should we remember?
Quakers who are well known for their Peace Testimony often wonder how they should react to the events surrounding Remembrance Sunday. We hope to discuss our personal feelings about this day; how can we move forward and work towards a more just and peaceful word?

I'm a 'retired' botanist, who enjoys long walks, particularly in coastal areas. I lead a simple lifestyle, and have little interest in what many people consider to be the 'good things' in life. I like people who are similarly uninterested in possessions and material things; life is too short to clutter with possessions.
