14 May 2007: Pre Pride Planning Meeting
Working in partnership the Southwark LGBT Network and Southwark Council will take part in Pride for the fourth time. Members of the LGBT community, their friends and family are welcome to the following events.
Monday 14th May: Meet the gang: Pre Pride Social, come along, see what the plans are, get ideas about dressing up you or your wheels for Pride.
Venue: Southwark Cathedral, Chapter Room. 6.30 – 8.30 pm
Free refreshments
Saturday June 30th: The Southwark LGBT Network does pride on wheels.
For Pride 2007, the Southwark LGBT Network will be encouraging people to join them on the parade on any form of wheels, this could be
· Pushing a pram
· In a wheelchair
· On a bike (peddle only)
· On roller blades
· On roller skates
· A skateboard
· Or walking with the group
Assembly point: Baker St. from 10.30 a.m.
Sunday 15th July: Post Pride BBQ: Join the Network for a family picnic in Southwark. Free BBQ and welcome cocktail for first 20 people!

Established in 2002, The Southwark LGBT Network is a social and support group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and their friends who live and work in Southwark. The Network is run by volunteers from the LGBT community and aims to create a series of safe spaces for all LGBT people in the borough. It tries to ensure that its activities are not set in pubs or other alcohol related venues.
