Baroness Jenny Tonge will introduce the event (Lord's business permitting) and 3 speakers who have spent time in Palestine volunteering on some very different projects will give eyewitness accounts of their experiences there and some of the day to day difficulties faced by Palestinians living under military occupation.
The event is presented by Richmond and Kingston Palestinian Solidarity Campaign. The PSC is an independent, non-governmental and non-party political organisation with members from all faiths, political parties and from many communities across Britain who have come together to work for peace and justice for the Palestinian people. PSC is opposed to all forms of racism, including anti-Jewish prejudice and Islamophobia. Palestinian products will also be on sale at the event.
