17 June 2007: Paleday headline FREE outdoor festival in NW London
On Sunday 17th June, my band Paleday headline the 'Gladstonebury' festival, Gladstone Park, Dollis Hill, London NW2. Bands play throughout the afternoon at this free event in the park and we headline at 6.30pm. Bring a picnic, bring friends, have fun
The 7th Annual Gladstonbury Live Music Festival & Funday will be bigger and better than ever and will be held over over two days this Year on the 16th & 17th June in it's usual location in the south of Gladstone Park The day will be very much an eclectic mix of Urban, Pop/rock, Dance and PALEDAY.. with a special appearance from Gilad Atzmon.
Paleday headline on the Sunday 17th at 6.30pm.
There is a large main stage, an acoustic stage and a clubby marquee, so a real variety of new music to enjoy for free. Loads of other stuff going on too, Eastenders celebs present, Lee from Steps will be performing with his new band The Latch, there's a beer tent (hoorah), green produce fair, and lots more. You can find out all the details at http://www.gpcc.ik.uk - over 5000 people attended last year and this year promoters SEB Collective hope to break the 8000+ mark.
If you couldn't get a ticket to Glastonbury, try Gladstonebury instead; if the sun is shining it will be a fantastic day out.
The official Sunday 17th program runs from 2pm to 8pm (although the resident "Rolling Gladstonebury's will be performing at 1.30pm)
