3 July 2008: OUT weekend in Munich, Germany
Douglas's famous Munich weekend. Those of us that went last year absolutely loved it - he was a perfect guide - some of us are returning for this year's installment. Events are planned for Thurs-Sun (see below) with brunch/shopping on Mon.
Organiser info: Douglas (from the UK) has spent the last few years working in Munich and is organising this event from the Munich side. I (Patrick) am just looking after the event details and keeping the forum thread up to date.
So far we have about 6 people attending [20 March]
Planned events (subject to change):
- Thursday evening: meet and great drinks
- Friday: an easy cycle tour of Munich followed by Douglas's housewarming party
- Saturday: a trip to the Alps to Herzogstand for the chairlift, views and Bavarian atmosphere followed by Sommer-Tollwood, Olympiapark Süd
- Sunday: Mystery – to be revealed on the day
- Monday: brunch, goodbyes and shopping
