22 September 2007: OUT Mega Midlands Weekend Badminton
Our usual social, friendly but still kinda competitive Saturday badminton session, but with extra guests from all over the place.
This is our usual Birmingham Saturday badminton event, but it has been thrown open to everyone visiting for the Mega Midlands weekend. It's social and friendly and open to players of all abilities.
Our venue is the Woodcock Sports Hall at Aston University, which has been chosen because it's central to the region and it's easy to reach via the motorway network or by public transport. For those of you visiting the city for the Mega Midlands weekend, it's a 10 minute walk from Hurst St, and we can arrange to meet you and guide you to the Sports Hall if necessary!
Reception at the Sports Hall has racquets for hire if you require one. Plastic shuttles are provided.

The cost of courts is £6.80 per court per 60-minute session. This cost will be equally divided between all participants.
The number of courts booked will be based on the number of you who have said that they will definitely attend by Friday 14th September. If you declare an interest after that date or turn up on the day then you're welcome but note that, if necessary, priority for games will be given to those who confirmed their attendance by the 14th.

I'm always up for meeting new people as mates and I still haven't given up on meeting "the one", even at my age! ;-)
