7 August 2010: OUT goes to Duckie!!
My pussy is magic, magic, magic. It must be the third annual OUTing to Duckie and the Vauxhall Griffin, while they're not quite so packed, thanks to everyone buggering off to Brighton.
The annual Duckie OUTing has become a bit of an OUT tradition. This is the third year we've done this very popular event.
Basically, Duckie is one of the greatest nights in the universe, but unfortunately it is so good it's always absolutely RAMMED, and very uncomfortable. So we civilised and cultured OUTers make a point of going on their quietest night, the night that half of London's gay population de-camps to Brighton.
It's not quiet, far from it, but it is a little quieter than usual, and there is actually room to dance. Which is just as well, as the music is the best in London.
So this is the Plan...
Meet at the excellent Vauxhall Griffin at 8.00, have some beer, Twiglets, Monster Munch and Haribo.
Then head down to Duckie at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern when the e-numbers start to kick in (10.30 I reckon)
I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone where the legendary RVT is, but the very lovely Griffin is here...
