4 August 2007: Outdoor Theatre at Lancaster
The wonderful adventures of Pinocchio, one of the best loved childrens characters of all time, will be brought to life in Williamson Park, Lancaster for the Duke's Theatre's 21st annual outdoor walkabout theatre extravaganza.
The Dukes annual promenade shows are a truly memorable experience. Move around the Park, from spooky gorges to dingly dells to share in Pinocchios journey, brought to life through vivid story telling, spectacular lighting, evocative sound effects and enough fun and humour to capture the imagination of anyone who's ever been naughty. recommended for adventurous adults and brave children over 5.

I have been going to these outdoor productions for many years and usualy stay over in Lancaster after the show and then spend the Sunday in the Lakes or Yorkshire Dales. Contact me if you are interested in making a weekend of it. Cheap accomodation is available on Lancaster University campus from about £25.
