18 May 2007: OutdoorLads.com BIG Spring Camp
This camp will be aimed at people of all experiences. On the Saturday there will be 4 different activities, Walking, Scrambling, Climbing and Mountain Biking. This Spring camp will be a great chance for people to get together.
This camp will be aimed at people of all experiences. On the Saturday there will be 4 different activities, Walking, Scrambling, Climbing and Mountain Biking. This Spring camp will be a great chance for people to get together, do the level of activity they wish and enjoy each others company in the evenings, either outside or in the barn we have for the weekend.
What are we going to be doing? (Detail and more to be added)
Saturday - 10am meet at the barn fully ready
Easiest Choice - Day Walks
This will be a day walk which will be relatively simple and won't involve scrambling.
Second Choice - Scrambling (Tryfan)
We will be doing a really good scramble which will test you and you'll feel it the week after, definately a good choice for those who like a challenge.
Third Choice - Multipitch Climbing
For those with some experience of lead climbing a small group will be taken off to multipitch climbing areas.
Forth Choice - Moutain Biking
On the Saturday a small group will go off Mountain Biking in the local area. This mountain biking will not be easy and will require some techniqual skill. There will be an easy mountain bike trip on the Sunday.
Sunday - 10am meet at the barn fully ready
More details will be released closer to the time
There will be more Climbing and Mountain biking, also there will be several smaller activities available (some with a cost to the campsite) these could include kayaking, canoeing, abseiling, orienteering, Snowdon Walk.
Activity Note
As there are different activities and different levels of activities it will be up to the Organiser of each activity if you will be allowed to go on it depending on your experience, fitness and skill level. If you do not have the correct kit you will not be allowed on the activity. If you are unsure of anything message the event organiser.
If you wish to attend this event, PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR NAME HERE you must register on www.OutdoorLads.com and put your name down for the event. We have to be very strict about this as if your not registered you invalidate our insurance.
