22 June 2008: OUT at Trolley 21 and Steam Weekend at the BCLM
Trolley 21 running event at the Black Country Living Mueum. Trolleybuses from the UK and overseas will help celebrate the 21st anniversary of the museums trolleybus service.

Trolley buses from all over the world gather at the Black Country Living Museum to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the trolley bus service at the Museum.
Steam Weekend
The Museum celebrates steam power in its widest sense with a range of different steam engines around the site. Large traction engines to miniature Mammod models, will be in action around the Museum. The colliery steam winder and fan engine will be in operation and it's full steam ahead when the only full sized working replica of the world's first Newcomen steam engine billows into life. Enthusiasts will enjoy watching the model steam engines and traction engines. This rare event is a must for enthusiasts and the public alike. President, the Museums steam powered canal boat will be in steam.

The Museum is situated on the A4037, the Tipton Road (DY1 4SQ), only 3 miles from junction 2 of the M5 Motorway via A4123 and 6 miles from junction 10 of the M6, the Museum is easily accessible from the Midlands motorway network. The Museum is signposted from Junction 2 of the M5 and is about 1 mile north of Dudley Town centre
Using Public Transport
The nearest station is Tipton, on the Birmingham to Wolverhampton line, 1 mile from the Museum. The nearest Intercity station is Sandwell and Dudley. The Museum is well served by buses from elsewhere in the Black Country and Birmingham. Contact Centro for details.
Parking
There is ample car parking outside the Museum entrance building. Cars are charged at £1.
