First outing now set up - see event 372469. Not a specific event, I am gauging interest. I am considering organising cycle trips based on the National and Regional Cycle Network, canals, and offroad cycleways in North Cheshire.
I would like to gauge interest in cycling in North Cheshire.

I am considering organising cycle trips to last a few hours. They will be on well-laid tracks and roads, mostly suitable for road bikes or mountain bikes. Terrain would not involve long climbs or descents and would be away from major roads. It's just for pleasure, not a time or endurance challenge, but you should be used to cycling.
No specialist equipment needed, just a bike with possibly a carrier or a backpack for water and a spare tube. With any cycling, I would strongly recommend a helmet. You would need lightweight warm clothing. Although fair weather will be preferable, a showerproof or waterproof jacket is an idea.
If this is something that you would be interested in, please add yourself to the list. You are not committing to coming to any particular event, this will enable me to set up invites in the future.
Examples might be Northwich Community Woodlands, parts of the Cheshire Cycleway, the Grand Trunk (Grand Union) Canal and River Weaver.
