"No To Hate" Vigil Against Hate Crime, London
28 October 2011: "No To Hate" Vigil Against Hate Crime
The third annual Vigil Against Hate Crime will be held from 7.30pm on Friday 28 October 2011 in Trafalgar Square, London, with similar events being organised around the UK and throughout the world.
We need your help to give as many people as possible notice that we are organising our third International VIGIL AGAINST HATE CRIME.
***** FRIDAY 28TH OCTOBER - 7.30PM TRAFALGAR SQUARE *****
Please join us in coming together to remember those killed or affected in hate crimes, and standing together in a show of cross-community unity against all forms of hate crime. There will be inspirational speakers, music, and a two minute silence to rememberthose lost at 8pm.
If you cannot attend please hold a two minute silence at 8pm wherever you are, or post a message of support on youtube.
Please share this message and invite your friends to join and support us.
Last year we had overwhelming support, including letters from the Prime Minster David Cameron and Leader of the Opposition Ed Miliband. Stuart Milk, from the Harvey Milk Foundation, was one of several inspirational speakers and there were similar events held around the globe.
With hate crime figures on the rise again in Westminster - we need everyone to join together again to make it clear that all forms of hate crime are unacceptable.

If I was an animal I'd be a wombat. If I was a car I would be unroadworthy. If I was a painting I'd be from Zürich Dada. If I was a drink I'd be a lager shandy. If I was a place I would be anywhere but Crewe. If I was a song I would be Xanadu.
