Yes its that time of year again. (or nearly) Yes Christmas. So celebrate it or not why not join the North Herts Crowd for a festive meal and get together.
CHRISTMAS
FAYRE
For the Christmas meal we thought we would stick with the Mill Stream as they have given us such a good service and welcoming all the rest of the times we have been there.
There is a £10 deposit (non returnable) this can be paid by calling the pub on [number available to members only] 27 calling into the pub or at one of our other events held there. They are asking for Numbers by Mid Nov. Total cost£16.95
When you pay your deposit they will also need you choice of food (see below) The bookings are in name: Alan North Herts Social.

Starters (all served with crusty rolls and butter)
French onion soup (v) (with toasted cheesy crust)
Smoked Mackerel & horseradish pate (with melba toast)
Deep fried brie wedges in crispy crumb (with date and mango chutney)
Ham hock terrine with piccalilli
Mains (all served with seasonal vegetables)
Roast Turkey with Sage & onion stuffing, pork sausage wrapped in bacon & roast potatoes
Poached Salmon Fillet with mash & creamy vermouth & chive sauce
Grilled Loin of pork with roast potatoes Wiltshire bacon & chive sauce
Roast Squash pecorino & chestnut risotto (v) with veg crisps & crisp mixed salad
Desserts
Xmas Pudding with brandy sauce
Vanilla Ice cream with crushed biscotti & Belgian choc & espresso sauce
Carrot Cake with lightly whipped cream
Plum & almond streusel pud with vanilla ice cream
