Thousands of performers from all around the world will be taking part in London's spectacular annual New Year's Day Parade. This year The Parade celebrates its 22nd Anniversary of bringing extraordinary entertainment to thousands of people every year

Starts at 12 Noon in Parliament Square and finishes on Piccadilly, at Berkeley Street approximately 3pm.
The Parade route is as follows:
Parliament Square, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Pall Mall, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Piccadilly, up to the junction with Berkeley Street.

More than 10,000 performers representing 20 countries world-wide will assemble.
More than half a million are expected to cram London's most famous streets to see the fantastic spectacular as it weaves its way along the 2 mile route.
For the 21st Anniversary 3 hours of Live Satellite Coverage will be beamed around the world. Major broadcasters such as the BBC, CNN, Fox news, SKY and CBS are all expected to cover the event.
A mammoth TV audience of more than 200m watched The New Year's Day Parade on January 1st 2006.More than 500 stations across five continents received live pictures of the 20th Anniversary event. And many more are expected to sign up for the next broadcast at the turn of the year.
And newspapers couldn't wait to feature all the fun, photos, facts and figures - with more than 1,000 UK stories - and hundreds more in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Stars of the show will be up to 33 stunning entries from each of the London Boroughs and the Capital's two cities.
Since its inception in 1987 the New Year's Day Parade - London has raised or donated two thirds of a million pounds to charities. Monies raised have benefited a wide range of London based charities. After the Parade we can also, for those who like to, go and have a bite to eat or just a coffee together.
