Exploring the classic wines of the 'Old World' and the new pretenders of the 'New World'. Is there a difference, is the new world enhancing and redefining the 'Old World' or will tradition continue to define our wines. Come and make your own mind up...
Each week we will look at four different grape varieties or styles, white and red, and compare examples from the Old World with those from the New World.
Is Sancerre a match for Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, can a Californian Rhone Ranger hold a candle to Chateauneuf du Pape, can Argentina know the socks off Bordeaux?
Come for either one or both of the evenings; we'll look at different wines and regions each time.
