Brand new! Come along, socialise and relax with other OUT-ers. Coffee Posses are a great way to meet new people and make new friends (You can of course drink or eat anything available, it doesn't have to be coffee). Everyone welcome.
Bit of socializing, anyone?
The initial plan is to offer this coffee posse for six months, once a month on a Saturday afternoon from 3-5pm. My friend Ken will be co-hosting. Hopefully these first few meetings will gather enough momentum to keep the posse going.
Future venues or times may change depending on people's needs. We could offer alternate Saturdays and Sundays for example, or different times of day. Feel free to make suggestions including other suitable city centre venues.
This is the usual coffee posse type event: coffee, cakes, company and chat. An alternative to the pub and club scene. Afternoon coffee might informally lead onto early evening drinks for those who want to.
If you are an Out member, please mark yourself as definite or probable by the night before (a few days before would be even better) if you are planning to attend. We'll then keep a look out for you. Hope that you will support this event. They do tend to be very sparse on the ground up here in the North East, so it would be good to have something going in our area.
