15 August 2007: Much Ado About Nothing by Bill Shakespeare, probably (starring quickfind:steveng)
Ok I'm prancing about in Shakespeare again and this time in the open air! This is one of his best loved plays about love, trust, supposed betrayal and play-acting.

Ok I'm prancing about in Shakespeare again and this time in the open air! This is one of his best loved plays about love, trust, supposed betrayal and play-acting.
Returning from war Don Pedro (that's me) and his men meet Leonato's daughter Hero and her cousin Beatrice. Claudio immediately falls in love with Hero, whilst Benedick and Beatrice's relationship is rather more fiery and less immediately loving. While Don Pedro, Leonato and Claudio plot to get Beatrice and Benedick together, Don Pedro's brother Don John plots to split up Claudio and Hero.
It's all up dated to the present day and I get to wear desert army camouflage...
The play is being staged in the Gun garden of Lewes Castle. Gates open at 6.30pm and curtain up (well there isn't a curtain obviously..) is 7.30pm. You can bring picnics and drinks to the Castle and something to sit on. We have arranged the weather to be gorgeous but it may be chilly towards the end so bring something warm to put on. The play should be over by 9.30pm.
Tickets £10 (£8 concessions)

Happy guy with positive outlook. I used to say I was "shy when sober" on here but everybody tells me I'm never shy. So I was either wrong or I'm always drunk... I'm am still a mess of contradictions though.
