Come and celebrate my 34th birthday! Drinks at King Edward VI followed by clubbing at the marvellous Feeling Gloomy. Free beer cheerfully accepted.

They basically play anything miserable or weird (usually, but certainly not exclusively, indie). Note that Feeling Gloomy is a straight club but do not let that put you off; the promoters Len and Cliff are extremely friendly and the place is pretty polysexual (I have seen boys kissing there and nobody batted an eyelid). Entrance is £6 (er I think) or you can pre-order tickets for £3.75.
Expect to be treated to the delights of the Miserabalists with their very lively front man, Cliff, and Sullen Shaun the DJ spinning his own unique brand of misery and hopelessness. Tonight is there special Morrissey night so expect lots of Smiths as well as 4 bands playing.
Invite your mates; remember, misery loves company! Seriously, don't be put off; its not actually at all gloomy its really fun and inventive (a very different night out).
