20 March 2010: Midlands Out Badminton + coaching!
Social, friendly (but still somehow competitive) badminton in the middle of the Midlands, handy for public transport and the motorway network. We're a friendly bunch and you'd be very welcome, so get in touch!
This is the latest in the series of weekly Midlands Out Badminton (MOB!) events. It is open to players of all ability levels.
The venue is the brand new City North Sports Centre at Birmingham City University which has been chosen because it's central to the region and it's easy to reach via the motorway network and by public transport.

There is lots of free car parking (don't let the barrier put you off, they will let you in once you buzz!). The centre is very close to Perry Barr railway station which is served by two trains an hour from New Street station.
Shuttlecocks are provided. If you need a racquet we have some spare ones which you are welcome to borrow. You need to bring your own indoor trainers!
The charge for this event is £4 per player. This covers the cost of shuttlecocks and hire of the courts.
By the way, we've been running for over 7 years now, so we have regular players who are not currently members or users of Outeverywhere. We have around 25 to 30 regular players (male and female), and each event attracts 16-20 players. Currently we are booking 4 courts each Saturday but there is scope within the same venue to book up to 8 courts when we need them.
Tony, our coach, will be available for the first hour of this session to help you to learn or improve any aspect of the game. There's no additional charge for this coaching.
