25 February 2012: Manchester & North West Gay Mens' Group
This is a group for gay men (singles & couples) living within the Manchester & North West area to "meetup" to meet old friends and make new ones in a friendly atmosphere at an "off-the-scene" venue.We meet often on a Saturday in an Central Manchester
As said in the summary this group meets once a month in Central Manchester.The meeting place is conveniently by the Arndale Centre and Victoria Station in the Triangle Shopping Centre where there is a large and impressive "pod" occupied by Nero's Coffee Shop.
We congregate usually on the first floor of the pod which these days is relatively quiet and spacious.The meeting is run on a come and go basis ,entirely informally,and one can come and stay to chat for a couple of hours or simply drop in for 15 to 20 minutes to say hello to old friends and maybe,make some new ones.
Parking is convenient above the Arndale with the entrance on Withy Grove and so is the shopping on Market Street.Free parking (parking bays) after 12.00pm can found nearby over the River Irwell in Salford also - Blackfriars Road. Please note this is subject to change as Salford Council are soon to raise parking charges to match Manchester City
