19 April 2010: Manchester Gay and Lesbian Interest Book Group
The reading group meets on the third Monday of each month (Except in August). The book for April's meeting is Manchester Slingback by Nicholas Blincoe. We are a friendly bunch who enjoy a relaxed and interesting discussion.
This reading group was established about 5 years ago, growing out of 'The Big Gay Read'. We always love to welcome new members. One advantage of a reading group is that members get introduced to books they might not have looked at or considered.

Hi, my name is Mark and I am 49 years old. People say I look a bit younger - aren't they kind! I'm a professional and I am a graduate of English Lit and History. I have many interests which include contemporary fiction and theatre. I listen to a wide range of music. Have lived in the Manchester/Cheshire area for most of my life.
