25 August 2007: Loud & Proud on the Fringe
Loud & Proud's first ever appearance on the Edinburgh Fringe to benefit Waverley Care, Scotland's largest charity providing care and support to people who are living with HIV.
Loud & Proud, Scotland's LGBT Choir, makes its first appearance on the Edinburgh Fringe hot on the heels of its recent appearance as guests of the London Gay Men's Chorus performing to over 1000 people in the Usher Hall, Edinburgh and Royal Concert Halls, Glasgow.
Numbering nearly fifty, the choir represents a range of musical experience. The choir sings mainly a cappella, and the concert will includes popular music, traditional music, light classics, lesbian/gay anthems, and show tunes.
Following the recent Usher Hall performance, one member of the audience said: 'Loud & Proud were amazing… made you very proud to be Scottish, and gay of course'
