10 November 2007: London Quaker Lesbian & Gay Fellowship meeting
Short 'period of silent worship', followed by discussion 'Where is God in Quakerism?'
Our meetings attract about 15 people, mostly men, of mixed age and beliefs. I have put 'period of silent worship' in quotation marks; I suspect many of us spend the time eyeing up who's present.
After this period we go into our discussion, which is usually quite light-hearted and in which most people participate. Tea and biscuits, etc., are available.
We regularly meet at the same venue at the same time on the second Saturday of each month.

I'm a 'retired' botanist, who enjoys long walks, particularly in coastal areas. I lead a simple lifestyle, and have little interest in what many people consider to be the 'good things' in life. I like people who are similarly uninterested in possessions and material things; life is too short to clutter with possessions.
