18 August 2007: London Pride Run
The 4th Annual London Pride run organised by the London Frontrunners will take place on Sat August 18th. Start time 11am in Victoria Park. An after race party will take place in the evening. More details to follow. www.londonpriderun.org
Around 600 people will compete in this 10km race organised by Londons Gay and Lesbian running group www.londonfrontrunners.org
People of all abilities have ran in previous years.
Last years winner completed the course in 30mins 05 (an average of 20kph/12.2mph across the whole course !)
There were also many more recreational runners who entered for fun.
Cream Cheese bagels are offered as a post race snack.
There will be a party in the evening as in previous years (venue TBC)

This event has been added to the OUTeverywhere calendar by Matt C from Mottingham in the London area.
Main passions include running, tennis, traveling, cars, misbehaving with my mates, good films, skiing... Recently did the Bath, and Dead Sea (Jordan) 1/2 marathons. Musically, James Brown (RIP), Jamiroquai, Earth Wind & Fire and ELO are favorites along with regular doses of good disco House. I look after a large call centre which is great fun. Speak French, Spanish and tour rep Greek.
