16 June 2007: Liverpool Waterfront Gospel Music Festival
Come and celebrate the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade and the 800th birthday of the city of Liverpool.
A magnificent Waterfront Gospel Music Festival, organised by City Sings Gospel, is taking place in front of the Maritime Museum at Liverpool's top heritage attraction the Albert Dock.
The Festival will feature BBC 1Xtra's DJ Fitz, bringing you the hottest gospel beats, Cie, Dwayne Tryumf, Watchman, Liverpool's renowned Love and Joy Gospel Choir, Roger and Sam, Premier Radio's Muyiwa plus local City Sings Gospel Choirs.
Be sure not to miss this spectacular Gospel Music Festival and Dock celebration with live Gospel Artistes, face painters and street entertainers.
The event will be held from 12.00 - 6.00 pm and is free to attend.
Bethlehem Community Church will be in attendance, but I must stress that we are not involved in the actual organisation of the event.
