Dance Out Loud is a weekly 5 Rhythms movement/dance drop-in class. We welcome everyone who respects diverse sexuality and wants to dance.
The 5Rhythms is a contemporary shamanic ecstatic dance practice developed by New York-based visionary Gabrielle Roth. 5Rhythms is a movement meditation that integrates physical and spiritual presence by grounding trance-dancing in 5 archetypal movement languages; flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. There are no steps to learn, the practice is designed to catalyse authentic movement and free the dancer that lives within each and every human body. It can be practiced with many, many different kinds of music, as well as in silence, and so is ideally suited for this fusionary experiment.
