9 December 2007: LGB choir Performance in the Winter Gardens, Sheffield
Sheffield's LGB choir, Out Aloud, are performing for free and for your pleasure Sunday 09/12/2007 at the Winter Gardens at 12.30pm & 1.30pm. A varied set of pop and choral a cappella music with a couple of Christmas carols thrown in!
Sheffield's LGB choir Out Aloud who have recently celebrated their first birthday will be performing a varied range of songs including a couple of carols at the Winter Gardens in Sheffield, Sunday 9 December 2007. There will be 2 identical sets at 12.30 pm and 1.30pm lasting roughly half an hour each. Other choirs will be perfoming throughout the day, but if it's not already easy to spot which one is the gay choir, we will be dressed in black, white & silver. The choir will be full of confidence following a genuinely triumphant performance at the World AIDS Day event at Sheffield University.
Apologies I'm not able to arrange a meeting time/place personally because I will be rehearsing and perfoming but please say hello between or after the sets if you recognise me. I know from going out a lot that very few gay people are aware of the choir's existence and it would be a very pleasant way to spend a half hour before your Sunday dinner!

Usually very laid back, quite lazy and disorganised but enthusiastic. Always looking for new experiences. Enjoy meeting up with friends on the scene but it's so limited here so looking to meet people who don't just want to go to the pub. Would like to get out of the city more. Into tennis though I play quite badly and creating lo-fi electropop though my musical taste is much wider and slightly alternative.
