Kayaking Evening, Salford Quays, Gtr Manchester
7 August 2007: Kayaking Evening
This is a brand new event that we hope to continue with great success. This event is ideal for the total beginner or someone wanting to refresh their kayaking skills.
The sessions are structured with a fully qualified instructor and aim to provide you with all the skills needed to enjoy kayaking. The sessions will aim to develop your skills allowing you to gain the British Canoe Union (BCU) 1 or 2 star qualification.
What to wear/Bring
All essential equipment is provided including buoyancy aids and helmets. You will need to bring clothes that you do not mind getting wet in.. ideally not cotton. If you have a summer wetsuit that would be ideal. Footwear is essential so either an old pair of trainers you do not mind getting wet or wetsuit boots if u have them.
Booking/Paying
To cover the cost of the instructor and all equipment hire the event cost is £14 if your a Full Member or £16 if your a Guest/Trial Member. You'll need to register on www.outdoorlads.com to pay for this event.
