27 April 2008: Joint GOC/Out Walk
A Gay Outdoor Club walk of about 7-8 miles. You don't have to be a member of GOC or OUT to join in, and friends, male or female, straight or gay are welcome as are well behaved dogs.
A pleasant rural walk in the Eastern Mendips. As the walk climbs, extensive views unfold to the south and west and in the distant is Glastonbury Tor. The walk is along country lanes, footpaths, fields and is approx 7.5mls with a total ascent of 220m. There is a possibility of a pub break, but this is to be confirmed, therefore a packed lunch is advisable.
Please wear sturdy footwear and bring waterproofs just in case.
