25 August 2007: Joint GOC/OUT Walk
The walks are a great way to meet people off the scene and are open to gay men and women and their friends. We don't take it too seriously, there are plenty of stops to admire the scenery so you don't have to be superfit.
Joint walk with Wilts, Glos and N Somerset GOC group.
Our final Saturday evening walk of the summer, before we revert to longer Sunday walks again.

A 4 mile walk taking in the 450ft summit of Brent Knoll, with a 360º panoramic views of the Mendips, Quantocks and over the Bristol Channel towards the Welsh Mountains. .
Following the walk, there will be a cold buffet in Weston-super-Mare at the flat of a GOC member. All welcome, but so he can cater properly, advance booking for the buffet, by 19 August, is essential, please contact us. There will be a nominal charge of £2.50 towards the cost of food - let us know any special dietary considerations.
Of course you are quite at liberty just to come and do the walk which will cost you nowt but boot leather. Please wear sturdy footwear (boots or shoes) , bring waterproofs, and maybe some water and a light snack as well.
