30 December 2007: Joint GOC/OUT Christmas Walk and Social
A good way to blow the Christmas cobwebs away. A short and easy walk - 3 miles or so - with a stop en route for lunch, mince pies, mulled wine at Phil and John's.
Short post Christmas walk in the Quantocks with a stop en route at Phil and John's house for mince pies, other nibbles, mulled wine etc. 3 miles or so on quiet lanes and footpaths around Spaxton and Merridge with some gentle climbing. Arrive at the cottage around midday then a short stroll back to the car park in the afternoon.
ALL WELCOME, REGULAR WALKERS OR NEWCOMERS BUT AS WE ARE CATERING IT'S IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE A DEFINITE RESPONSE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER BEFORE THE EVENT.
Do wear sensible footwear and bring waterproofs just in case.
