Join NAT on Crusaid's Walk For Life 2010!, London
6 June 2010: Join NAT on Crusaid's Walk For Life 2010!
The date has been set for Crusaid's Walk For Life this year - Sunday 6 June 2010. Why not join the NAT (National AIDS Trust) team for a great day, with your sponsorship helping both terrific charities?
Crusaid's Walk for Life is an annual 10km sponsored walk around London in aid of HIV charities. Each year NAT (National AIDS Trust) joins in the fun, and with the current financial climate it is a more important than ever source of funds for us.
There will be entertainment at the start and end of the route, and a great atmosphere along the way.
By joining the NAT team you are helping two terrific HIV charities, as the sponsorship raised will be split between NAT and Crusaid. We will also have special prizes for team members, and possibly even celebrity supporters - last year Graham Norton came along with his gorgeous dogs to give the NAT team a brilliant send-off.
Here's what we need you to do now to secure your place on the NAT team:
1. Hold Sunday 6 June 2010 in your diary.
2. Go to http://www.walkforlife.co.uk/ and register as an individual walker*.
*This year Crusaid have introduced a £10 registration fee (not applicable for under 15's or if you are unemployed), however, if you raise £100 or over, NAT will refund this fee just let me know once you reach the £100 mark if you'd like the refund.
3. Join NAT's team by searching for NAT (National AIDS Trust) then using the 'Join a team' facility
Log in to your Walk For Life page
Click on "Join A Team"
Search for NAT (National AIDS Trust) in the search box (there are other NAT teams, please join this one)
Select "join this team"
4. Email me at [email address available to members only] with your name, address and contact telephone number, so I can send you updates and any other information you will need, and also include the size of NAT T-Shirt you need to wear on the day.
5. Start seeking sponsorship! Remember - if your first sponsor gives a large amount, this will inspire others to give larger amounts too!
It will be a brilliant day, and is a great way to raise money for some fantastic HIV charities. I do hope you can join us!
